TRICIA AURAND is an award-winning screenwriter, media critic, and podcast host with a growing portfolio of acclaimed work. Her screenplays have received recognition at festivals and competitions worldwide, and she currently has multiple scripts in production and development.
Tricia is a frequent collaborator with Oscar nominee STEPHEN J. RIVELE (Ali, Nixon), working together on several historical screenplays and biopics, including Triangle, Exchange Alley, and Lt. Ramsey’s War, a limited series based on the true story of WWII hero Edwin Price Ramsey. Her produced feature films include The Christmas Chain (2024), They Crawl Beneath (2023), and Middleton Christmas (2020), which received special recognition at the Donate Life Hollywood Awards.
Beyond screenwriting, Tricia is the co-author of Taking Flight: The Nadine Ramsey Story, the biography of pioneering female fighter pilot Nadine Ramsey, published by the University Press of Kansas in 2020. Her second nonfiction book proposal is currently in talks with publishers.
Online, Tricia is a writer for popular YouTube channels Lessons from the Screenplay (1.5 million subscribers) and Wisecrack (3.1 million subscribers). She also co-hosts Beyond the Screenplay, a top-100 Film & TV podcast on iTunes and Spotify. In her spare time, she runs a thriving coverage and consulting business, helping other writers achieve their goals for their projects.
Tricia lives in Los Angeles, where she continues to develop impactful stories for the screen and beyond.
